Jon Harrell Docherty M.D. Sr.

I was a patient of Dr. Docherty many years ago. He was one of my favorite physicians. He never gave me a hard time about some of the bad health habits I had, but he provided great care and advice. He would sometimes say, "You know what is healthy and what isn't and I'll always answer any health questions you might have, but I'm not going to raise your blood pressure by causing you anxiety". He had a great sense of humor too. Prayers to his family for peace and fond memories to comfort them...

Jon faithfully, skillfully...yet quietly took care of his very large group of patients over the years. I was always proud of how well he took care of his Sumter family. And fondly remember his passion for Reinactment...we went to the Columns for many years and with our kids
