Jon married into our family 40 years ago. He and my sister, Mary Jean, lived a charmed life in the old family farmhouse outside of Astoria and together they worked hard to give back to the community they loved. Jon filled the room wherever he went and his laugh came straight from his heart. Our family is heartbroken over this loss. Rest well, Jon.

I did not know Jon, I do know living in the coast. Your description of how he lived his life was amazing and motivating. It's obvious he loved well and was equally loved by others. The description of his last moments on earth were lovely and touching. Thank you for sharing .
