Not sure what to say?

/He was my chief and a good chief

Jon was a very nice man. He was dad´s partner in CIS. He never forgot us. When he was Chief, I was at HQ, I saw him walking down through the lobby. I spoke, "Hey Jon". He stopped and said "Hi Danny"", how´s it going" We chatted for a few minutes. I hadn´t seen st the time 10+ years. Dad thought a lot of him.

May God bless the Higgins family, I went to recruit school with Debbie Huie, Chief Higgins step daughter and she was great and Chief Higgins was a good man and a great chief

My dad, and Jon were partners in C.I.S. in the early 60's. He always spoke well of the chief. I know dad always considered him a friend.
To the Higgins' family, we are truly sorry for your loss.

Family of Chief Higgins: I was hired as a dispatcher for LPD in 1977, while Mr. Higgins was Chief. He was always a professional and I also believe he cared very deeply about his officers, civilians and the community. May he rest in peace and may your memories of happier times help you through this most difficult time. ... Pam

My most heart felt condolences to all the Higgins family. I knew Mr. Higgins when I was a neighborhood ruffian and friend of his son Jon. I hold in my memory a deep respect for a great man. Jon, Kelly and Tracy…. God Bless and keep you in your time of mourning.

I want to express my condolences to The Higgins family. I knew Jon when he was married to Anna. I was very close friends with Debbie Huie. May God watch over his family.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

I would like to offer my condolences to the family of Jon Higgins. I was on the first horse patrol under Chief Higgins back in the late 70's. It was obvious he loved horses.

Jon was always very professional and always had a smile on his face. He wore his uniform very proudly and served the City of Louisville for many years of his life. He also was also a very talented artist.

My thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you for your loss.
God Bless you...
