Not sure what to say?

I love you Jon, Mike

My first car was a 49 Ford that Jon let me park in their garage while we re-built the engine. He helped me get it running again, but it never turned out to be the sweet hotrod we all wanted it to be. Many times out in the garage Jon came up with something funny to say that made us all laugh. He had a great smile. Mike

Dear Nora - I was saddened to hear of Jon's passing. I remember the days when Peggy and I lived next door to you and Jon in the duplex. Jon always had his wonderful smile and a story to tell. He will be missed. Thinking of you - Jennie

Dear Nora, Glen, and Joanna.

Jon was my best friend - both growing up and in life beyond. After joining the military in 1967 we both only saw each other once or twice a year, but each visit was special for me. I’m really going to miss him. Here are some of my fondest memories: Jon’s smile, the Jon Carlos “wo-baby” laugh, his 60 Chevy - including the wreck we had on an icy morning, having coffee and a laugh at the Frisch’s Big Boy, the clothes all over his childhood bedroom floor,...

Dear Nora, Joanna and Glen. My thoughts and prayers have been with you during this time of sorrow. I have walked through Central Park paying particular attention to the birds and remembering Jon's fondness for this when he visited Joanna here.

Nora, Dale, Jill and family,

We were deeply saddened to hear about Jon's passing. We have such good memories of his laughter and joy of life. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Dear Nora,

Kim Nice told me this morning of your husband's passing. I have never met your husband, but am saddened for you and your children. From reading the entries I see your husband was beloved by many. May you be comforted in the future by the wonderful past memories.

Nora,
So sorry to hear about Jon. I remember him well from our
Paul May parties. Call me sometime in the future.
Your friend ,

Please know Nora that you and Jon were just in my thoughts and prayers just days ago as I plan to come to Columbus for Michigan game. Usually up home sooner and was looking forward to at least one last visit with my Clinton elementary, Domionion Jr. High and Whetstone buddy. I am so sorry that's not possible except to come by and give you a hug. Jon's at peace and I hope your memories of him like mine will comfort you through this sad time. Thanks to The Columbus Dispatch and my sister,...
