Not sure what to say?

Every year that goes by, brings us closer - old friend. It better be better THERE where you are, than it is HERE - especially lately! God help us. (No pun intended)

We will always remember our weekend fishing trips off the Jersey coast and goose hunting in Maryland.
Jon was a true sportsman and gentleman.

I will always remember Jon's ever present smile and his genuine kindness. Jon got me hired on my first real job and then a subsequent job that in essence defined the path of my life for the last 30 years. That job led to a staff job that led me to meeting my lifelong friend Kathleen Feeney. Through Kathleen I met my wife Ellen and we started a family. So sad to hear about Jon's passing. Jon was a true mentor to me and really gave me my start in the industry. Knoop got me on jobs where I was way over my head, but he taught me to stay calm and "that everything always works out". I owe him a lot.
Thank you Jon.

Always a treat when knoop was on the job. What you saw was what you got - unique in a business where "all the world's a stage." I'm sure I'll see you one of these days, old friend. -- Dick

I'm so sorry to hear that Jon passed away. He was always a very cool person to work with, and I have fond memories of him.

Condolences to Jon's family. Thank you for all the advice and help you gave me in my younger years. I miss talking about fly fishing, the 68 Norton Comando, and bimmers. May he rest in peace.

My long time fishing pal and a good friend, the local trout won't miss him but I will.
