Jon Kevin McCarthy

Mr. McCarthy was not only my high school principal, but my dear friend Kate´s dad. I have so many fun and fond memories of him. He was a wonderful man! His nickname for me was Car-woman, and I´ve never forgotten that! I have so many memories of spending time with them at their cottage, going to Washington D.C. with them, and him making pancakes for all of us. Joanne and Kate, my deepest sympathies. He was an awesome source of information to me as I raised my Family. He was patient, kind and ever only wanting to do the right and best thing for Kids in education. Jon was a dear friend who we will never forget. In the 40 years of friendship we shared many meals, boat rides, fishing expeditions, great conversations, and memories of different times we were together. We have a few beautiful wooden pieces that he made for us and we treasure them. We will miss Jon immensely.
