Dear Jon, rest in peace! We stood together on the back row of the chorus at Delaney Elementary School and shared many jokes and stories. We shared our teen years together at Cherokee and Boone High Schools and Jon was always at the forefront at all of our wonderful reunions. He will be sorely missed by all of his many friends! He made the world a better place! Love to you, Jon!

My deepest condolences to Cecil, Carol, Cecil Jr, and the entire family.

I remember from high school, that Jon had the most wonderful smile. Lit up the room & made people feel good. I know he is smiling still. My condolences to the family, i know he is greatly missed.

To a dear friend, I first met Jon at a party.
We traveled together. Went to New Orleans to see the King Tut artifacts, what a great time and trip. You will be missed by many. Rest in Peace.

Over the years, Jon, Lorna, and I became very close friends, and his passing will leave...
