We remember Jon from our days in Columbus, GA. He led a revival at Rose Hill Baptist in the early 1960's. Loyd was serving as the minister of education then, just after graduating from Southwestern Seminary. We still have the notes from his sermons from the Gospel of John and on the Holy Spirit. I have fond mempories of attending Briarcliff Baptist sunday school with Becky, Helen and Connie then experiencing your father's awesome sermons. My dad passed recently also.
