God is a God of all Comfort and he will Comfort...My heartfelt thoughts...

So sadden to hear of Jon's passing. Years ago my mom passed (Marie Miraglilo Lysak) there was a picture of Jon, I'm sure he was a cousin. Our family name is Miraglilo from Ocean City, NJ. Sending love and prayers to his family and many many friends.

God bless ...

I have watched Mr. Jon Polito in various films. Talented actor. You will be missed by many. May Mr. Polito family be comforted.

I first met Jon in Maine thru a mutual friend, Dominic Garvey. Jon became a part of our family and especially bonded with my mother-in-law. I will miss Jon, but feel like he and Dominic and Mom are somewhere having a drink and once again enjoying each other's company.

I knew Jon when he was a young thespian at West Catholic Boys' High School in Philadelphia and I was a member of the orchestra at the Girls' school. His signature roles as Ali Hakim in Oklahoma and Colonel Pickering in My Fair Lady were major highlights of these two shows. I still have these two programs which he signed as John Polito. Rest in peace, dear friend. Marguerite Russo Mitchell (Abington, PA)

Jon was a fearless and intelligent actor , the best I ever worked with.
A compassionate, charming, generous man, full of love and good cheer, he was my last real friend from the young days in New York

Loved his work, my condolences to his family and friends RIP.
