Jon was a creative, talented gentleman. My memories of him are exceedingly positive.

Jon was a friend from high school that was an important part of my life at the time. I contacted him several months ago to reconnect. I am deeply saddened. This world has lost a wonderful man.
"While my guitar gently weeps." He wrote "I love you". I have looked at that many times during my life.
Deepest condolences to his family. RIP Jon.

Jon was very proud of his son Jake whom I had the pleasure of meeting as a Freedom "regular" on Walton st.I would pull up a chair on nice days and sit outside the shop and talk briefly about all sorts of things with Jon when he came in doing his "morning rounds".I also got to know Jake ..his plans fore the future and his love of making beautiful wood furniture. When Jake moved to Florida I would inquire with Jon about how he was doing..He always loved to fill me in.One day I said that I...

I had lost contact with Jon until just recently, a few weeks before he passed. We had a nice chat on messenger and he was concerned about the effects of the COVID virus on his customers/business. I remember Jon fondly as a fun-loving, crazy (like all of us) and extremely creative. Me, Jon, Ron Raymond, and Jim Rapasadi were a very close-knit bunch of buds. We had enormous energy, a great friendship, and a mutual love for fun (a bunch of it), girls, and life! My condolences to Jon's family.

Jon, god took you too soon. You still had a lot to do here on earth and a lot of people to touch. I'll miss you very much, my friend, see you on the other side.

Jon was a friend and had such a positive influence in my life. I am grateful to have known him. I wish his family my deepest condolences.
