My sympathies to your family. I did not know him personally but, wore his POW bracelet while he was a prisoner in Viet Nam. When he returned home, I received a letter from him with thanks. I also sent newspaper articles in our local paper to his Mother as she and I had corresponded a few times. I remember crying as I watched his return on TV.
