Jon Michael Serna

I was going through a scrapbook and found photos of people I knew in high school. I looked him up and am so saddened to learn. This photo is from long ago and the quality is grainy but I hope it can bring comfort to his family. I met Jon at Harvard Summer School. Although we only knew each other several weeks, I will always remember his great smile and kind nature.

Mr. Serna was one of the best science teachers, and involved teachers I have ever had. He was a class of 2000 favorite and will be missed.

Dave and Eva i cannot even think of the words to comfort u with the lost of Jon, for i would not know the hurt, but with God at your side, im sure he will help with the pain, and we are so sorry....love and friends always.....Ed & Hilda Salyards

I had mr serna as a teacher, and I always knew that he was just so damn smart. he really made me enjoy chemistry. he was a good guy... i am praying for the family. just out of curiosity what happened to mr. serna, he was so young.

I knew Jon in high school, he was one of the sweetest guys on campus. He always had a smile on his face for anyone and everyone. God Bless his kids & the rest of his family during this difficult time.
