Not sure what to say?

Dearest Jean and Family, we send our love and condolences. Jon was truly a servant to our Lord, a leader in the community and an encourager to anyone who engaged in conversations with him. His legacy of service and compassion towards others in need exemplified Jon´s caring character. We are so glad to have known him. Joyce and Chris

Early in my career I knew "of" Jon as a respected businessman. I subsequently had business dealings with him, and after a particularly drawn out transaction, Jon showed up at my office with a paper weight praising my perseverance, with a Bible quote from Romans 5:4. He showed me how to be a Christian businessman in a secular world. Over the years, I got to know Jon as a friend, through Band of Brothers, serving First Methodist, BSF, and in our leader circle for BSF. Jon's spiritual depth...

I remember Jon from the Family Y. Jon was a man of integrity and a class act. He will be severely missed in the Waco Community. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Dear Jean, Our sincere condolences to you and family at this difficult time. We were fortunate to have known Jon. He was a dear man. Kind, respectful, loving, generous and so gracious. May the Lord hold you close.

Jon was a gentleman and a scholar. I met Jon on my first ride with the bike club in 1988. He was encouraging and had a way of relating to everyone. In the years that followed, I would occasionally see him in the grocery store I was employed at, he remained the same thoughtful, encouraging, and relatable guy. My condolences to his family...and really, to anyone who ever met him.

Jon was a kind man and will be greatly missed.

Jon was a straight shooter and man of his word

One of the finest men I have ever had the pleasure to know. Godspeed my brother.

He was my business law professor at Baylor, best professor I ever had there. He will be missed, I had great respect for him and his many wonderful strengths and qualities. Todd Heller
