Not sure what to say?

When I was 10 years old, back in 1970, my mother was pregnant with my brother Mike. During a big snow storm, Jon made sure my mother got to the hospital safely from Veteran Hill Road with the snow plow he operated. He was a good man. I was friends with his son. Condolences to the family. Carl Celli, Addison, Illinois.

Denise and Family

Sorry for your loss and May God bless you and your whole family.

MARY ELLEN BRIGGS

We send our condolences to the family. Jon was a special man who always had the time for conversation. He was an amazing neighbor and we're all very saddened to hear of his passing. Thank you for being so welcoming to us and for going out of your way to be a great person, time and time again. Until we meet again, my friend!

I worked with Jon at Elmira Structures. What a smart and funny individual. He faithfully came to work every morning dressed in jeans, flannel shirt and hat, toting his dog Emma. He was usually the first person to view and give an opinion on drawings obtained from various architects for potential projects. Without exception, whenever I'd hear some grumbling coming from the "back room" I'd go back to ask Jon what was going on, knowing full well that I was going to get the uncensored opinion...

Jon Teeter was one of of the best employees Horseheads Schools ever had. He there during the period of rapid growth followed by the time
or razor-thin budgets, always managing to keep the system running. He
knew all of the staff in various buildings and greeted them with a smile!

Prayers and condolences to the family. John was a classmate and friend at EFA . Great guy. RIP.

I loved Jon and we were friends all through school. He was a fine good man! May he RIP.

What a wonderful Father and Father-in-law you were Jon. My husband loved and admired you so very much. Your passing comes with heavy hearts but we are grateful you are now at peace. I promise I'll keep up our family Thanksgiving tradition and think of you every moment of the day. We love you Jon, rest now.
God speed,
Jess McGrain
