Not sure what to say?

Although I never met Jon Tuska, he meant a lot to me. I began adding his edited Zane Grey titles to my collection in 1996 with LAST OF THE DUANES and have them all, including the last title, PANGUITCH. And I began adding all of the westerns he edited or wrote introductions for, which I always read first. He will certainly be missed and my sincere condolences to his family.

I just heard of Jon's passing. Please accept my sincere condolences. Jon took a great deal of time helping me in publishing my grandfather's book and other publications. Jon has been very important in keeping the western genre alive and many of the westerns we see in bookstores and libraries are due to his efforts. He will be missed.

Vicki~ The family of Henry W. Allen (Will Henry/Clay Fisher),
send sincere condolences to you and your family on the pass ing of John. Without John continuing efforts and dedication to the Western novel, our father's legacy would not be what it is today. Thank you. We will keep all of you in our prayers,
Chris and Roberta Allen, Valerie & Bill Brasher, & the entire Allen Family

I just saw Jon's obituary in the Oregonian. I am so sorry to learn of his passing, Jon was a long time customer of ours at A1 Self Storage. He was such a kind person and always waved or came in the office to say Hi to me. He was with us for many years, he was like part of the family.
May God comfort his family and help them through this time of his loss.
