Jon Vahlberg

Jon and I went to school together from the first grade in Sweet until graduating from BSU. We remained friends our entire adult lives. We always called each other on our birthdays. We had both indepently taken up metal detecting as a hobby but only recently found each other out. We figured people would think we were getting old. I had the pleasure of recently taking Jon on a metal detecting adventure in our old stomping grounds around Sweet. What a ball we had. We had planned another...

Jon was a great guy with a big heart. He was a true friend throughout high school. I will always remember him for his kind ways, his big smile & the mischievous twinkle in his eye. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

It all came to soon. Jon was a very loving man and always willing to listen.

I am so sorry to hear for Jon's passing. I have known him since he was a 14 year old boy. He grew into a fine young man and loving father and husband. He will always be in our hearts and never be forgotten. RIP Jonboy as some of us affectionately called him.
