Not sure what to say?

Jon was such a fine man. I know many still miss him.

Jon is often in my thoughts. Whenever I play my second shot on hole #1 at OLCC, I look up to the right and I imagine seeing Jon at his house. I give him a wave. His smile and warmth are ever present.

Rest in peace.

Dear Pat & family,
Many years have past since I saw Jon & you. Peter always had the highest respect for Jon as a physician & person.
My deepest heartfelt sympathies to you all in your great loss.

I was stunned when I learned of Dr. V's passing. I had the privilege of working with and listening to him since the early 1990s, transcribing IME reports. He became a grandparent shortly before I did, and it was so apparent how proud and loving he was of his family. I used to love our verbal sparring, arguing about words and non-words, which seemed to be a quirk of his. We used to refer to them as "Vesselyisms" because they were totally unique. Sadly, I did not keep a list, but they would...

I am deeply saddened to learn of Jon's passing. I first met him 44 years ago. He performed surgery on a badly damaged knee injured in a skiing accident. He performed two other knee surgeries throughout the years. My respect and admiration for him continued to grow as I learned about his strong love for his family. He was a fine man that I will never forget. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

My deepest sympathy to all of Jon's family and friends, and especially to Pat and their children. Remember all the wonderful years you had with him. He will always be near.

I'm very shocked and sad to hear of Dr. Vessely's passing. I worked with him for many years at Orthopaedic Consultants. I walked into the conference room early many a Monday morning to get my coffee and find Dr. V. sitting at the head of the table doing his crossword puzzle. What a nice guy. He'll sure be missed.

The world lost a great doctor, a great man.
