Not sure what to say?

I want to amend an earlier comment. The world is poorer for losing Jon, but richer for his albeit short presence. My deepest condolences to his family

Condolences and sympathy to Jon's family, friends, colleagues on the occasion of memorial service today (30 April 2022). I should have liked to attend, but I am recovering from a Covid booster and not well. I overlapped with Jon as part of the Five College IR program for about the first decade of his service at Mt. Jon was the dearest of men, had a brilliant mind, and a kind soul. His loss is unimaginable. My heart breaks for his family.

I am so deeply saddened to have learned by this. Jon and i were a year apart at Macalester and while Jon was doing an internship in DC, he stayed at my house and my mother could not say enough wonderful things about him. I totally agree. The world is less poorer without him.

Jenny, Wally and I ate sorry for your loss. Our hearts and prayers are with you.

To Jenny and family, I am very sorry for your loss. I am an old friend of Jon's from back in his public policy days at U of M. While I have not been in touch with Jon, I do remember fondly our friendship back then. From the obituary and the many other tributes to him on line, I am very touched by the rich life of family, friends, and meaningful work that he had. My best wishes to you during this incredibly sad time.

Condolences to the Western family, so sorry to hear about the loss of Jon he was truly a wonderful person. We spend many hours in the pool together here in North Dakota. It was wonderful to read about the fabulous life he made for himself. Many fond memories of spending time with him and his family. RIP Jon.

Dear Jenny. Warm hugs to you, Alex and Charlie. A donation has been made in Jon's honor.
