Though I knew Jake only as an acquaintance, and we rarely had an opportunity to speak, the few times we did were most enjoyable for me. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of Mr Zaski, he was one in a million. He taught at EJ High School with my Mom and later, when he came to Parkside, I had him for 9th grade civics and he made it a fun class.

I had Mr Zasi as a homeroom teacher, American History teacher, and Michigan History teacher. He was a great person and a remarkable role model to me. He is one of the reasons I pursued a degree in teaching. I have often thought about Mr Zaski over the years. He will be missed.
