Collier’s Funeral Home - Saint Ann Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Jonathan Ryan Anth share of his passing on November 1, 2018.
Jon will be forever remembered by his wife, Samantha, and their daughter, Olivia. He also leaves behind his Mother, Vickie Havermann and Father Arthur Anth III, a brother Joe (Kim) Anth, a sister Jessica Anth, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces a nephew and countless friends. Jon had a passion for serving others through his time as a police officer, which continued with his career in higher education. He loved his family and would always make sure he was at important life events. Jon had a special closeness with his nieces and nephews, always finding individual ways to connect. He enjoyed joking with others and telling very tall and animated stories. He treasured being on the water, spending time fishing and driving fast cars. He was always up for new adventures and liked traveling and learning. Jon's love for life and those who he deeply cared about were evident in everything he did. Jon had a strong desire to see Olivia go to college.
Memorial donations in memory of Jon to fulfill this vision can be made through Zelle (6168216565) or Venmo (@Samantha-Anth).

Not sure what to say?

It's taken me a bit to let this sink in. I only knew you a very short time, but in that time the impact you made on me was great. Jon had wisdom that did not sync with his age. He was always caring and eager to help. I wish I would have had a bit more time to call you my friend, alas that did not turn out to be. When I inevitably move on to new adventures, your words of encouragement and wisdom will play in my head. Godspeed Jon! You are missed. Your friend- T

Seeing Jonathan's picture makes me think I knew him. He was so handsome; and possibly I recognize him from being a police officer in Hazelwood. I am a friend of his mother, Vicki. I'm so sorry for Vicki, Samantha, Olivia, Art, etc. May God bless his soul in Heaven and also bless his family, here on Earth. My Deepest sympathy and prayers are with Jonathan's family. He was a blessing while he was here and will be forever in our hearts.

Samantha and family I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. My thoughts and prayers have been with you and your precious daughter. I will continue to pray for you guys as you may find peace and comfort throughout this difficult time. May he watch over the both of you and wrap his arms around you always.

To: Samantha and Family
My prayers are with you all during this time. I am deeply saddened by this news. I will cherish the sweet memory of Jonathan as a great co worker. He was very helpful to me in my training period at work.
Sincerely,
Teresa Patton
