My Dad worked with this man for many years and was so heart broken to hear of his passing. My Dad really respected and appreciated his business and he will be sorely missed.

Oh my I just learned of Jonathan's passing and offering my deepest condolences, and especially his son Davis who I don't think I ever met, but remember Jonathan always talking about his son and how much he loved him. We met while I was working for the City of SF and he made what resulted in many bad experiences, very tolerable; I could always call him and share my feelings...already missed him which is why I googled his name and was sad to find his obituary

I just learned of Jonathan's passing today. As a colleague and friend early on in my career he was generous with his wisdom, guidance and talents. I'm so sorry to know we won't cross paths on another event again. My condolences to his entire family on the loss of a genuine individual whose outreach touched more lives than you may realize.

I just yesterday heard about Jonathan's passing. Our paths crossed on many event projects, and I always looked forward to seeing him. Jonathan was a character and a storyteller! And also a consummate professional and perfectionist that inspired those around him to keep up. I will think of him often in future work, and miss his camaraderie. No doubt he is re-designing the environment on the other side as we speak. God bless!

I knew Jonathan when we attended Sacred Heart High School together and then Saint Mary's College. He worked on the yearbook I believe when I was working on the school newspaper. We both had a teacher, Br. Philip Keavney who challenged us to think differently. We saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show movie together and Pink Floyd's The Wall. I think the first time I ever saw MTV was when he took me to his mother's apartment in SF. I feel so fortunate I got to meet his son when he took him to a...

Before the pandemic shut down in March 2020 I went to visit Jonathan at his shop so he can dazzle me with all the incredible things he was making.
We spent hours talking about color and light while he was whipping up various samples for a project we were working on.
Jonathan loved what he did and it showed by the results of his work. A creative, honest human gone too soon. We will miss you. My thoughts are with all who loved him.

Jonathan learned that, in life, experiences mattered more than things! So happy that he visited London, Florence, Lisbon, Mexico City and Delhi among other places!
