I do not know Jonathan or the Batista Family personally, but when a tragedy like this happens, we come together like family. My heart goes out to you and you are all in my thoughts and prayers. It certainly sounds like Jonathan was an extroidinary young man and that, he was loved by so many and was a positive influence to others. May he rest in peace and watch over his loving family and close friends. Jonathan will forever live on in the hearts of everyone.

I give my full condolences to all of the family may you find comfort through gods word the Bible during these difficult time.

To Jonathan's Mother, I was devastated by Jon's death. He was a friend to my son, Casey Ellis, in N.C. We live in the North Carolina mountains in Ashe County. Jon came with Casey to visit a few times. He was so friendly and we took to him right away. We just treated him like family! He went hiking in the Grayson Highlands with Casey.
