I met Jonathan at an event in Elmwood Park where we (Calvary Baptist Church) had a tent to invite people to join us at church. Jonathan came to church much to our delight. He kept his health issues private so we were all shocked to learn that Jonathan would not be with us for worship anymore. We will miss his sweet disposition. Fly high Jonathan...........

Jonathan and I became close friends when we worked together at The Rescue Mission. We would often go to lunch and the majority of our time was spent laughing. Jonathan was always encouraging and he never met a stranger. I would always tease him and he gave it right back. At Christimas time, Ollie and I would go to Waynesboro and would visit the Cheese Shop. Jonathan loved the homemade fruit cake that came from this store, so we would get him one and bring it back.

Jonathan was such a kind and caring young man. He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

We are sad to hear of Jonathan's passing. He was always positive, friendly, and interested in the well-being of others. Our most sincere condolences to family and all who knew him.
