Not sure what to say?

Jill & Jen: We are so very sorry for your loss. I know I can speak for the entire team at Coastline Marine when I say that John will be truly missed, but certainly never forgotten. We looked forward to John's frequent unexpected visits, always smiling and usually sporting one of his amazing cars. We would drop everything for his visits - he was just "that guy" that everyone admired. His kindness radiated and became contagious. John made a positive impact on all of us, and for that we are...

My condolences to the Carey family,For many years I cut John´s hair and believe me we became very close with our stories of auburndale growing up, the sports, the guys who played them . John was an encyclopedia of the memories and names . God bless you John , you´ll be sorely missed. Kevin and Darlene at the shop.

Jill & Jen, With the saddest of hearts we remember the decades of kindness Johnny (shortie) displayed to the Oliveto family. I learned Many life lessons alone with valuable skills, working at the shop throughout my teenage years. These memories are fondest of my life. Shortie was a mentor and friend. I will miss him and remember him always. Sincerely, Steven Oliveto

You meant the world to Lu and I and we will cherish our memories forever. You spoiled us in a way we needed - pure fun with no strings attached. I will always remember Thanksgiving trips to the mall in Syracuse and every summer dying of anticipation to see Jen in Rockport. The fun was all orchestrated by you of course. You would drive us around to eat lobster and take us out for dinner, to the movies, on the Jenny C, and to the Neck. At Sweet Sarahs you told us we could fill our candy bags up...

We are so sorry to hear about John´s passing. He was a great father and husband. He seemed to be an old style self-made man who win a prosperous business to a lot of hard work and sacrifice. He will be missed. I would think one of his real choice was to see his one grandchild. What a blessing.

He was such a warm and welcoming person. A heart of gold.

Jill and Jen, I am so sad to hear of Johnny´s passing he was much too young to go. What I remember, and admired, most about him was his deep love for his family. He was a wonderful husband and father and I´m sure will be deeply missed. Sending love and prayers at this difficult time. Patti Bishop (Soukas)

What a beautiful tribute to John. My fondest memory was when there was a Loth/Mellor reunion in Rockport and John was so kind to take us on his beautiful boat. Kurt, Travis, Nicole and I will cherish that memory forever. My heart is saddened for you loss. Hugs coming from California to you..love you
