Not sure what to say?

Johnny went out of his way to befriend me in high school. When I consulted him years later about eye surgery, the first thing he did was to whip out photos of his children and show me, with a huge, happy smile on his face. He told me something about each one, and only after that did we get to my appointment. John loved his family, and I am very sorry that you lost him much too soon. He was a good man.

Jonathan was the best of the Lasik surgeons and ran an amazing office where over a hundred thousand folks had eyes corrected, using laser to cut corneal flaps when everyone else was using razor blades. So many great employees too! RIP

Sadly, I just heard of your passing, Dr. Christenbury. You were an ingenious surgeon. I had been under your care for 21 years. You changed my life forever. I have often thought of principles I learned from you. You were the top in your field, no doubt about it. I will always be grateful to you for all you did for me. I know you are with the Lord now. God bless you and your family.

Mary, Liz and Joe, sorry to read of Jonathan's transition. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time of loss and sorrow. Liz and Joe, you were small children when I was assisting your parents on the interior design of their home many years ago. Jonathan was my Mother's eye doctor and she was always pleased at seeing him. My Mom always had an eye for good looking men...
May God give you the Peace, Love and Strength during your time of sorry.
Much Love,
Calvin E. Hefner, FASID

Goodbye, Jonny. You were the best and brightest at Charlotte Christian. God gave you the ability to help others, and I am at least consoled that you are with Him. RIP, Christian High Knight.

Mary, Liz, & Joe,
Our family is saddened by your loss of this special man. We will remember you in our thoughts and will pray for God to bless you with his guidance, strength and support during this difficult time.
Love,
The Barrus Family

Dr. Christenbury had been my eye doctor since the year 1992. He was a blessing to me for so many years. I have prayer and grieve for the loss of the best eye doctor I have ever had. He was a very intelligent and compassionate doctor. So sorry for your loss.

You were an awesome Surgeon and man; I want forget the amazing surgery you did for me which made my dream of becoming a police officer a reality. Truly will be missed. I last saw you in 2013 or 2014. Hope you're finally at rest-you deserve it. Sure wish you were here to see the CATS win a bowl!! I'm hopeful and still rooting!

RIP Dr. Christenbury! To the family I am grateful for the wonderful physician he was. He performed my Lasix in 2000 and to this day I continue to have 20/20 vision. He also diagnosed me at an early age with Glaucoma and I am Grateful for that as well. Prayers to the family at this difficult time.
