Not sure what to say?

I've had the privelege and pleasure of working with John for many years and can only echo the previous thoughts on what a great guy he was. Helpful, conscientious, self-effacing, thorough, and funny. I will miss him tremendously. Sincerely condolences to his family.

Dear Lori and Sue, We were so sorry to hear of the loss of John. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Our deepest sympathies. Love Uncle John, Patty, Linda, and Karen

After seeing so many beautiful posts, it inspired me to write here as many of us share so much of what Uncle John meant to us. The beautiful memories of what Natalie wrote about our dear Uncle John is shared by myself and others. He also was like a second father to me, spending many good times with him, Aunt Susan and Lori. I remember his tenacity when I was 6 yrs. old and he taught me how to ride a bike. He was someone you can count on to be there with a helping hand having done so many...

My deepest sympathies go out to Lori and family. My father and I are truly sorry for your loss. John was a great guy and will be deeply missed.

Aunt Sue and Lori,
There is so much I want to say but I can’t say, so I figured I would write it. First thing I have to say is, Lori, your dad may not have said it much be he was VERY proud of you. He used to tell us that he never had to worry about you because he knew you turned out alright and had a “good head on your shoulders”. He never wasted an opportunity to gush to us about what latest and greatest thing you were up to.
I want you to know that Uncle John was very special...

Lori,
My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your father. And to you Susan on your loss.

My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow.

Unlce John - you will be missed!
Love, Carolyn, Joe, Gina, Alyssia, Briana, Joey & Ryan

May God bless you John DeRose, and may he give His love to your family and especially your daughter, in this time of sorrow. Our prayers and hearts are with you. You were always a good and giving man.

John was known to us at Horizon Blue Cross & Blue Shield of New Jersey / IBM as Johnny D., ever helpful and diligent in the performance of his job or one of his many home projects.

My favorite story was Johnny D. finding a lost little dog and adopting him when no owner...
