Jonathan was in several of my courses at CCSU. He was a gifted writer and insightful student. I remember writing brilliant on more than one exam. I always enjoyed seeing him in office hours. He was such a kind young man. My heart broke reading the article in the Courant. To his family and friends, I will remember you and Jon in my prayers.

I met Jon through my niece Victoria and her family. They truly loved him as a member of their family! I only knew first hand,a little of his caring nature and his great sense of humor but know very well all that he meant to them. To you, his parents, I can only say that you had a son you could truly be proud of in every manner. I did not know Jonathan however a friend of mine worked with him and said he was a very nice person. I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. He sounded like a special person and it's so very sad that this virus took him. I will say a prayer for him during my virtual attendance of Church Sunday morning. May he rest in peace and you have my sincere sympathy.
