Not sure what to say?

Jon was a special friend of mine for more than 50 years. First as colleagues staffing U.S. Senator Alan Cranston; then together with Chris and their family, they were a joyous presence in my life for decades thereafter. In our Senate staff days Jon and I would take a mid-morning break in the basement cafeteria of the Dirksen Building. We am so sorry for your loss. What an incredible life he had and man he was. Sending love. -Deirdre & Jim Boyd (friends of Peter and Diane)

Deepest condolences to the Fleming family from your friends at Nature Forward.

He taught volumes, inspired hard work and dedication, modeled integrity, and did all that and so much more with warmth and his wry sense of humor. I was so lucky to have Jon as my first real boss, fresh out of school. I've had some great bosses since, but none compares with Jon. One fond memory (there are so many!): I shall never...

Jon & Cris were are very dear friends. Ernie & I spent hundreds of happy days with them in Rangeley , Maine & in Chevy Chase. Their photos are next to my desk. I miss them deeply.
