Not sure what to say?

Dr. Freedman was a most incredible professor, mentor, and role model. He was the first professor that I had at KSU, and (as a non-traditional student) set a high bar for the rest of the faculty. I was blessed to have another class with him online two years later, and he joined my family twice a week for class via video and audio. My most sincere regards go to his family.

Jonathan was a wonderful friend, teacher and mentor and will be greatly missed by the many whose lives he touched. I have never known anyone that freely shared of themselves and their life as he did. I want to live my life with his example in mind; with the undauntable belief that we all make a difference in the world. I am a much better person for having been befriended by Jonathan.

To Jo and, the chidren and their families, I send my heartfelt sympathy. He will be missed.

Dr. Freedman's warmth and kindness radiated off of him and could be felt by all, even in the briefest encounters. He lived his life treasuring every moment and I will treasure every moment I had with him as my professor and mentor. My sincerest condolences go out to all of his family and friends.

Jonathon has been a great friend to our family. Our deepest condolences go to Jo Ann and their sons and grandchildren. Let us know how we can help out.

Jonathan was a wonderful friend, professor and mentor. His encouragement and inspiration will stay with me the rest of my life. He loved life, his wife, his children and grandchildren, his friends, his students and his faith. He will always serve as a great example of a life well lived, and someone I aspire to be like. I will forever mourn his loss, but I am proud to have known him and called him my friend.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Jo, Lorin, Michael, Noah and the rest of the family.

Our lives have been touched and enriched for having known you Jonathan. Our hearts and prayers go out to the entire Freedman family. I will miss you dear friend. What a wonderful life.

Jonathan,

you will always be in my heart, a man capable of touching a crowd across a room with one smile. My friend and so very proud to have known you.

Always in my thoughts.

Dr. Freedman made a great impact on me and my teaching. His positive motivation and compliments always had a special meaning to me. I am confident he is already drafting a syllabus for a class in Heaven.
