Not sure what to say?

Dear Jon
It's been over 26 years we've known each other. I was deeply saddened at learning of your passing. You were a cultural window to the world for me. I've learned a great deal from you and it was always a fun time. I'll never forget the EDT winter parties or the night you walked on the ceiling of my car.
I will miss you.

I learned to ethnic dance under Jonathan's tutelage at Ironworld in Chisholm in the late 80's/early 90's. I didn't stay in contact, but I've always thought of Jon since as a patient teacher with a passion for his craft -- more importantly a kind man. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

To Jon - thank you for the smile you always had for me at EDT rehearsals. You made my time in the Twin Cities that much happier. I wish I could be there on Sunday to celebrate your life, but I'll be playing Ladarke and thinking of you. Hopa! Kathy

I grew up with Jon, going to the same church, camping trips with our families, getting a puppy from his dog Chamoie. He was always very fun, and someone I knew as special even as a child. I am very sorry for your loss. His parents would be very sad. Jan Marxhausen - Beezley, Boulder,CO

A friendly, smiling, warm nice guy!
That's what I think of when I think of Jon.
He will be sorely missed. I'll bet he (along with Fred K.) is already dancing and teaching the angels some new steps.
God bless.
Susanne Peterka Ballard

Jon always beamed that mischevous smile when I would run into him at events in the Twin Cities or EDT performances, and he always had a tidbit to share. Most of all he was warm and very complimentary whenever I ran into him. It was hard to learn yesterday that Jon is now dancing with the angels! He was one talented man that will surely be missed in the Twin Cities dancing community! Love, Kasia Rajtar

Dear Don, I was in choir with you at Highland. You styled my hair for Unsinkable Molly Brown! Through the years, I've enjoyed reading stories of you and the dance troupe. Not this time, though. I was very sad to read of Jonathan's passing. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Dearest Boy,
Now things will never be the same.
Love and love to you from your--
Beverly

How sad and shocked to learn of Johnathans passing. What a wonderful person he was and so creative both in hair styles and the Ethic Dance company. He will be missed.
