Not sure what to say?

I just returned to LA from a month in NM and was very sad and shocked to learn of the tragic loss of such a good, honorable and caring man. Back in the early years when Jon joined Montana Artists, I had the honor of being one of the first Line Producers he represented. He was my agent for 5 years and was always honest, ethical and caring - a friend as well as a business partner. I, and everyone who has known Jon, will miss him terribly. My deepest sympathy to his family.

We knew Jon as a little boy. Our hearts go out to his mother Sheila,
father Sydney, and his wife Karen and their children. We cannot conceive how they will face this tragedy. So sad.

Jon was not just an agent but a friend, that's how he ran Montana, positive upbeat and always caring, I will miss my friend. My life is better because of him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I'm still in shock about the loss of Jon. Along with being a fabulous agent, he was a wonderful person with plenty of time for compassion and sage advice. I will miss the email or phone call from him; I will miss him. I will miss his passion and enthusiasm for this crazy business. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, wife & children and his extended family at Montana Artists.

I'm so sad, and I can't stop thinking about Jon. He was such a decent, kind and hard working man. As one of the good guys, it breaks my heart to think he was in such psychic pain. My heart goes out to his family and many friends who have suffered a great loss.

I could always count on Jon to bring the absolute best people to the table on any given project. His gift was matching up the entirely right artists with the project at hand. He was passionate about his clients but always entirely fair and honest when it came time to make a deal.
When I was at a crossroads in my life, he stepped in and gave me great advice. I considered him a friend and my life is much richer for having known Jon. Rest in peace Jon! My thoughts and prayers go out...

In a constantly impersonal and degrading world, Jon always took the high road … because the low one was so crowded. I am shocked and saddened by this turn of events which ended his journey so prematurely. It is a genuine loss for that shrinking pool of decent and humane people who tirelessly fight the good fight for the right reason.

Jon was an extremely kind and decent man. A straight arrow, he was funny, smart, perceptive and hard working. I feel very lucky to have known him and to be represented by him. I hope his wife and family will receive some comfort from the large number of friends and colleages that attended Jon's memorial service.

There is no way to call Jon and talk about it.
He always had the best advice.

A great friend.
A devastating loss to us all.
