Dear Jay Jay, While I never had the opportunity to meet you, I have heard many stories about your life and varied interests from your dear mother, who loved you with her whole heart, that I felt I knew you. As a result, I realized that we would, have been great friends as a result. Unfortunately, we never had that opportunity. I was a friend of JJay’s at ECU through the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. JJay was a kind hearted person and was very passionate about his love for trucks and pitt bulls, especially his beloved Dozer. I was personally dismayed at learning the news of his untimely passing, and I have continued to pray for the Heiden family.
