Not sure what to say?

Jon and I were both part of "The Houghton Project". I was saddened by his death.

Our deepest condolences.

Having worked with Jon for 20+ years with legacy US Customs Service, I remember his sly wit, love of golf and his computer expertise. Back in the days before social media and when Customs monitored many of their scheduling, enforcement, inspectional and other various disciplines manually, Customs management reached out to Jon to create computer programs exclusive to Miami. Saddened to hear of Jon's passing. My prayers are for his family.

So long, Jon.
I haven't seen you in a while, but like all true friends, time means nothing to a real friendship. I hope time will remove the deep heartache from the rest of the family. May God bless you. Ron

As a U.S. Customs Canine Enforcement Officer, I worked with John in Miami from 1988-2000. As a CBPO in Atlanta, he recently saw me working and remembered me like yesterday. He was one of the friendliest inspectors I ever knew, a great person. Rest in peace John, we all will miss you!

We became friends with Jon and Rae when our sons went to school together and played baseball. We were surprised when Jon sketched the artwork for our son's Bar Mitzvah T-shirt gift and were not aware of his artistic talent. We also have fond memories of Christmas Eve Dinners hosted by the Houghtons for many years! Our deepest sympathies to Rae and the family. May your memories provide you comfort during this difficult time.

We are so sorry for your loss. You all are in our thoughts and prayers -

My deepest sympathy. I worked with Jon years ago at Miami Airport. What a nice man.
