After my visit to you in February(2008), we made plans for me to visit you Memorial Day weekend. I looked so forward to this past weekend. Sadly, the night of my birthday you passed. Blessedly, so, I was able to see you one final time(funeral). I will miss speaking to you weekly. Enjoying your smile. Jon, I miss my best friend.

my sister told me about the passing of jon, i went to woodside elementary with jon. he was pretty laid back at 9 years old i wish i could have met him at 49, i know after 40 years he would have still been cool. in front of me now is a picture of ronnie rogers, tim talaga, micheal dryer, your father, and scott mcphee. apparently we were champions in 4th grade football, and i do remember that, we threw the ball in the air and your father caught it and we won. i only knew him for a few years,...
