I met Jonathan at his high school alumni dinner where I was privileged to deliver the key note address. It was the first time I delivered a talk I call, "The Rule of 1%." Jonathan, with a friend in tow, was the only one who came up to thank me for the speech. I still deliver that speech to police recruits in my civil rights class and to select audiences. aloha uncle david, aunty maryjo, blake, lindsey and jace. my name is chance smith and johnathan brostrom was my best friend in high school 1999-2001 at damien. he still is and always will be.i moved from kauai to oahu in 1999 and attended damien. john and i were both new to damien, we clicked instantly. we were best friends throughout our high school years.i moved back to kauai in 2002 and finished school here on kauai. johnathan and i hung out everyday and did pretty much everything...
