Jonathan Parkhurst

A few years ago, I lived on Independence Avenue, and it wasn't unusual to see Jonathan walking by with his stick in the evening on his exercise route. My grandmother lived in front of Glenwood School at the corner of Sweetser and Bedford avenues, and in the evenings when I was there, Jonathan was walking by on his route. He would always wave. I worked with Jonathan while he was Perry County Judge Magistrate in Tell City, Indiana. He was a fair and compassionate Judge. We became friends while working together at the Court.
