Johnathan and I were fortunate to be thrown together at Warren Wilson College where it seems we all knew each other in some form. Generally speaking we had choices with whom we wanted to spend time with. Every time I encountered Jonathan we gravitated to good humor and solid friendship! I am proud to be his friend for eternity. My condolences to his family!

Jonathan and I were classmates at WWC and worked on the same kitchen team. He brought so much joy and laughter to all of us. He would tease us and make our work fun. We connected through Facebook over the years and he was always so kind and thoughtful. A gentle and very kind soul who will be missed. I could tell from his FB that he loved his family very deeply.

Jonathan and I started our friendship in 1964 as freshmen at Warren Wilson College in Swananoa, North Carolina. We were both young boys arriving in the United States to begin our new lives. We both worked hard and studied hard. After 2 years at WWC, we departed to different universities and lost contact with each other until we met again at our 25th Homecoming Reunion at WWC. Since then, Jonathan and I, along with our spouses, often visited each other and had dinner together. We had such fun...

Jonathan was a dedicated, loyal alumnus of Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, NC, and we mourn his untimely passing. We happily remember special times with him and Dorothy and later also Khalil when he joined them on a reunion visit to campus. Jonathan's classmates cherished his thoughtfulness and warm friendship, and many will miss him deeply. Janet Doyle, Development Director.
