Not sure what to say?

Jon was a good sport both on and off the field. Everyone's friend.

Deepest condolences to the family. Fond memories of him.
Dr. NN

My sincere sympathy to Susan & Jon's extended family. As I look back some sixty seven years, I remember Jon as a ram-rod straight & imposing figure during our early teen years. Yes--he was smart, focused, friendly & destined to do well in life.I grew up just a short walk to his house. We shared a like for music as we both played the saxophone. We're so sorry to hear of Jon's passing. He will be missed at the Tuesday Men's Bridge Group of the Brewster Council on Aging.
He always had a great smile for us and had an upbeat view of life. Our heart-felt condolences go out to his family. The Tuesday group won't be the same without him.

The Brewster Council on Aging

To Jonathan's entire family__Jonathan is among the many good people I am privileged to have known from my South Hadley Center School trove of memories. He was nice, he was smart and he was bound to be successful in whatever he decided to do in life. After reading his obituary, it made me feel blessed to have him among those memories of good people that crossed my path. May you all have been blessed by having him in your lives.

Jonathan was a class act, generous with his time, a pleasure to work with, and all around nice guy. My condolences to his family.

As a (now retired) Probate and Family Court judge, I had the honor of directly observing Atty. Rices superb legal skills. As a Holyoker, I never knew his deep Holyoke connection until reading the obituary. I also have a very clear memory as a brand new lawyer of receiving a call from Atty. Rice telling me I had been appointed by the Probate Court to review one of his estate cases, it being my very first appointment. My condolences to the entire family. David Sacks
