Jon Rosenfeld...I am heartbroken finding out this sad sad news. We have known each other for 45 years. You were such an inspiring teacher. I was inspired by your amazing heart as my teacher and the way you cared about all of the children. You treated me as if I was your own child as you did all of your students. I am the teacher today because of you. You truly inspired me to be a teacher. I am so blessed that we kept in touch for all these years after elementary school...40 years. Not many...

For several years Jon worked for me at the YMCA summer camp in Freehold Boro. He was the BEST camp director we ever had. Extremely efficient and well organized and loved by the kids and staff. He came to work every day with a smile on his face and never left until the job was done.
I'd lost touch with Jon over the years but want you to know that many people in Freehold remember him with fondness. I'm so sorry for your loss.

jonathan was in our lives such a short time. he left us too soon. we will miss him terribly
