Not sure what to say?

I served in the 82Abn with Jonathan. He was a good man .I carried him on my back many times during a 2 and half mile running exercise. I was the only man big enough to carry him. We would often joke and laugh while doing this .we would joke about how each other needed to go on a diet.even tho we are both in amazing shape. He was my best friend. He would often invite me out to event's. Iv thought of him every day since he has left us . I miss him very much .I allways will .Fallen not forgotten.

It was my pleasure to have served with SSG Silva.

SFC McMicheal

I am so deeply saddened by the news of SSG Silva passing he will be greatly missed. I'm honored and blessed to have served with SSG Silva in Afghanistan. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.

My thoughts are with you and your family.
