Not sure what to say?

Was just thinking of him and remembering the many good times. I still miss you so much and I hope to see you again!

I was a friend of Jonathan's at the University of Utah. I had just reconnected with him. I am so shocked he is gone. He was so funny and always so quick witted. Never at a loss for words. One of the bright lights in my heart has gone out.

I was a friend of Jonathan's, but we haven't been in contact for over a year. When I recently invited him to a dance concert, I'd learned of his passing. He was a genius. So diverse with his many talents. He touched so many with his wisdom, creativity, immense knowledge, and passion for life. We will all miss him. Marsha Pabalis

Jonathan, You were & are loved. This world is a better place because of you and those who's hearts and lives you touched (both human & animal friends).

I wish I had found you again as I have returned to SLCC, and said Thank You for your inspiration Jonathan Stowers.

So I just now learned of Jonathans passing. I had no idea! I had him for Spanish in 2000-2002. He was an amazing instructor!! I have nothing but utmost respect for him! I just remember how he would get his nose bleeds in the winter while teaching. He loved teaching so much, he would leave real quickly and get a paper towel or tp pinch his nose, hold his head back, and continue the lesson!! I really grew to love him as a person. He also humbled me in the class. I learned a lot from him. I...

I attended Cottonwood High with Jon. He was one of my best friends. Since I also have curly red hair, he used to introduce me as his younger 'sister'. We were in a production of 'Pippi Longstocking' together, although neither of us got to play Pippi! He even came back after he graduated high school to help out with our senior program in Mrs. Hahn's drama class program. Jon, you were such a lovely human being. You are missed. My deepest condolences to all that knew and loved Jon.

I was very lucky to know Jonathan. He helped me in so many ways when I danced at SLCC. This breaks my heart as I looked up to him very much. He will be truly missed by many. RIP Johnathan. Love you!

I just learned recently that Jonathan had passed away. Jonathan was a giant in every sense of the word----he was an intellectual and academic colossus. Even when one disagreed with him, one deeply respected him. He was an inspiration to all of us, and cared passionately about meaningful change and visionary service and leadership.

I am deeply shocked by Jonathan's passing; he had so much more life to give to each of us, and his loss will be keenly felt by his colleagues, friends...
