Not sure what to say?

I was also Air Force and share the same birthday.
I know you heard it before, but I thank him for his service and sorry for your loss. You should be proud of him.

I remember meeting Jonathan when he was about 4 or 5. I last saw him at my dear friend Jolie's home just months before his tragic fate. Jonathan, I'm so proud to know you. You are the only person I've known to die for our country. I will always remember you and honor you.

Yolanda, my dear friend, my heart aches for you. I love you, sis.

Rest in peace Jonathan. You are a hero to us all.

Love you,
Aunt Lynette

Vega,
I miss you bro. I promised you at Ellsworth that I would do everything in my power to ensure you had aircover. Everyday of my life I regret breaking that promise to you. Your convoy was our mission that day. It was my aircraft that was assigned the mission. It broke and I could not get it fixed in time. I was calling the shots on my aircraft and I failed you. I regret every part of that day. You were an awesome man and brother. With a heavy heart, I miss you bro. I am sorry.

It was a great chance of mine to have met you. You will always be in my mind rest easy brother

Never forgotten brother.

Never forgotten.

Fallen, but not forgotten.

Remembering Senior Airman Jonathan on this Memorial Day and the ultimate sacrifice he made. Prayers for his family.
