Jonathon "Jonny" Robert Howard

Jonathon Robert Howard, 29, of Sanger, suddenly passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 in Denton, Texas.  Born on April 21, 1988 in Lewisville, Texas, he was the son of Scottie Douglas and wife Dawn Howard and Kristen Adams.

Jonny was a member of the Class of 2006 at Sanger High School.  After high school, he made a career in the Heat and Air conditioning industry and was an employee of Air Repair Pros in Frisco.  He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying work, golfing, fishing, and hunting.  To say that he was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys would have been a huge understatement.  He was all about those “Cowboys” but his greatest blessing came when his time was spent with the love of his life, Kelli and his Lil Princesses Tyler and Emerson.

He was preceded in death by his father Scottie Howard.  Those left to cherish his memory were his paternal grandmother, Donna Howard of Sanger, fiancée Kelli M Finney of Sanger, two daughters Tyler Payton Howard of Sanger and Emerson Rae Howard of Little Elm, step-mother Dawn Howard of Lincoln, AR, three brothers Tony Howard of Beaumont, Virgil Howard of Corinth and Kris Adams of Florida, an uncle Donnie Howard of Sanger, cousin Melissa Kay Howard of Sanger, mother Kristen Adams of Corinth, and maternal grandmother Patsy West of Texas.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday August 20, 2017 at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger.  A funeral service honoring Johnny’s memory will be held at 10:30 am Monday, August 21, 2017 at the Bolivar Baptist Church with Dickie Amyx officiating the services.
