Not sure what to say?

I miss Jones's monthly call from Manhattan to Brisbane Australia, after 25 years of them. Lots of talk about the Shakespeare Authorship Question, but also some wonderful memories of Hollywood. Wherever he is, he'll be expressing strong opinions in that gravelly voice.

So sorry to learn of his passing. Rest in peace Mr Harris.

Jones was a fascinating character. I enjoyed visiting with him about his JFK assassination research.

So sorry to just be learning of Jonesy's passing. Met him many years ago at a Players Club gathering to honor the late Jimmy Cagney. Had stayed in touch for quite a long time, but sometimes there would never be an answer on his phone. The consummate character. I shall miss him.

We were friends for many years. I was away on an artist´s project when he passed. Since we had not spoken I just tried to phone him and got dead air so I looked up his name and found this obituary. I send my condolences to Jack and all his family . What a great life he had. I will always miss his unique and curmudgeonly voice.

I knew Jones for many years. We'd talk about history (his as well), and I would mail him articles, reports, and of course books. I always told him we should do a book on his life but we never got there. Sad to see him go.

It´s hard to still believe you´re gone Jones. Without your presence on earth, many would´ve never witnessed your research, doggedness and at times, your strong opinions : 3 things I always admired. You have the answers you sought now. God needed you.

May angels (singing or otherwise) escort thee to thy rest.
