Survived by loving husband of 27 years, Mike Harmdierks; son, Jacob Harmdierks; mother and stepfather, Cindy and Lynn Bluml; and many other loving family and friends.
VISITATION Thursday, May 8, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, with family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. FUNERAL SERVICE Friday, May 9, at 1 p.m. at St. Thomas Lutheran Church (17007 Q St., Omaha, 68135), with BURIAL to follow at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to Live On Nebraska (https://liveonnebraska.org/) or St. Thomas Lutheran Church.

Note to Joni
I think of the time that Cindy and I, the two adults, took two teenagers with us on vacation to the West Coast. It was fun seeing it through the eyes ofJoni. Joni and I would pick on each other and she would call me a dork. There was a lot of laughter on that vacation! When we see each other again, we will have to organize a softball game and see who is still the best. You better keep practicing! Love you!

Joni's light shone brightly. Her spirit glorified something greater than herself and created a lasting legacy that continues to illuminate the lives of those who knew her.
Matthew 5:14-16 "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
