A legend of note. Sad sad, dark day in the sporting world of South Africa. Thank for being the person and icon you were. You are now pain free. Gone too soon - hence, South Africans are fighters. You tried your best to fight this battle - unfortunately, no matter how we try, there comes a time when we need to deal with defeat.
I salute you - a man in the mirror.

You were an outstanding rugby player and you will be sadly missed. Condolences to your whole family! We can now only imagine what you would still have brought to the game as a couch, administrator or mentor to the new young players! Taken far too soon! Rest In peace!
