Jordan-FLAWITH-Obituary

Jordan William FLAWITH

Obituary

October 22, 1982 - March 9, 2012

Son, Brother, Grandson,
Nephew, Uncle, Friend

Taken from us far too soon at age 29 in Hylo, AB. His loss is beyond words - our hearts are broken. Jordan was everyone's best friend - and would do anything within his realm for every one of them. He was so proud of his ranch in Hylo, AB - and loved driving his giant mine truck in Fort McMurray. Family and friends were most important in his life, especially those in Lac La Biche, Hylo, Fort Mc, and the Comox Valley.
Survived by devoted parents Wendie & Steve, loving brother James (Shannon) and sister Megan, doting grandparents Doreen and Bill Gould, Eileen Flawith, special Auntie Sassy and Uncle Pete Johnson, cousin Erin Williams (James), numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, brand new nephew Brady and faithful pet Athena (we are taking her home Jord).
Heartfelt thanks to all of Jordan's close friends in Lac La Biche & Hylo, especially Adam, Lee and Floyd, who helped us through some very tough days.
Celebration of life to be held in the Comox Valley at a later date.

Jordan, your heart was bigger than your soul...you shall forever be missed
.....may you rest in peace.

This obituary was originally published in the Comox Valley Echo (Courtenay, BC).

Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you today, more than most. Can't believe it's already been a year. You are always in my thoughts and forever in my memories. You were an amazing friend to so many of us xoxo

There is not a day that goes by, that I don't think of you and your family. Puppy and I hiked Knox My yesterday as per your request. Went to your favourite spot. Your soul is in the wind, in the sky, everywhere.

Always in my thoughts.

saw a snow-cat commercial and thought of you today, miss you !!

I just learnt of Jordan's passing yesterday, and was deeply saddened at your great loss. May only the many happy memories of his life stay with you as you move forward in life.

My heartfelt condolences to Jordan's Family. I was deeply upset when I heard the news. I wish your family all the strength in the world. I have the most fondest memories with Jordan in my teenage years. 4X4'ing in his Jeep in the woods around Courtenay/Comox and getting stuck one time in the mud, it felt like hours, we were sitting there laughing about how you managed to tilt the jeep in order for it to get stuck. Our chill sessions in his basement in Courtenay with other close friends. You...

My condolences to you (Jordan's family). I was deeply saddened by the recent news of Jordan's passing. You probably don't know me, but I graduated from Vanier with Jordan, and remember good times in Auto Mechanics with him. I didn't know Jordan extremely well, but I really enjoyed and appreciated the little I did know him!

Please accept our sincerest condolences Wendie, Steve, Jamie and Megan. Rest in peace Jordan.

Dear jordans family, Jordans news is very upsetting, Jordan when I met Jordan he hardly knew me and within a few months was helping me find work and hooking me up to his satellite, helping me move furniture, and being there for me, I lived above him in courtenay and sad to hear the news my heart goes out to his family he is one of only a few people.
