To the Freeman Family: I personally did not have a chance to get to know Mr Freeman aka "Sonnie" but I knew so many of his family members and based on them alone I know he's an awesome man. My thought and prayers are with all of you! Karla you know if you need anything please call, love you much your sister Leslie

To the Freeman family, Sonnie he will be missed dearly and we will always love and cherish our memories of him. He left a legacy for generations to come and set a great example for all African-american males to emulate. Love Tim and Stacie Poindexter.

It's been 2 weeks, yet the fact that Dad is gone has yet to hit me. If I can say I've learned anything from this experience it is... Live Good, Love Long... and Regret Nothing. My Dad lived a pretty good life. He loved a long list of people. And there were no regrets.
I'm gonna miss fishing, playing poker, the good food and all of the laughs. But I know that he's in a better place! Love ya Lots...Miss a Much...Buckwheat (Karla)

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

To the Freeman family we are sorry for your loss. You are in our prayers. Daniel, Lori, Domonic, Louisa Meadley

To My Family,
I love you all and I know Grandpa is watching over us. He is in a better place and I am proud to say that is my angel! I miss you so much, but I know you're always with me. Nothing could ever take away the memories that you filled my life with! I can't imagine how I would have turned out if you weren't my grandfather! I love you Grandpa, and you never ever be forgotten!
