Pleasant Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary - Sebastopol Obituary

Jordan Ginn passed away in Santa Rosa from sudden heart failure, while enjoying music and dancing in Court House Square at the Farmer's Market.
Jordan was born in Seoul, South Korea, and was adopted at age two and a half by Bob and Jane Ginn of Rohnert Park, California. He became an American citizen in 1980. Jordan attended Rohnert Park Elementary Schools and graduated from Cardinal Newman High School, where he was very successful in academics, excelled in wrestling and enjoyed being on the football team. While in high school he expanded his talent in music to include vocal performance which allowed him to be chosen for lead roles in "West Side Story" and "Cats". After high school, he attended UC Irvine, where he had the opportunity to participate in many musical events. Including performances in several European music capitals with the university choir in competition with other choirs. In addition, Jordan became a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.
Upon graduating, he moved to San Francisco and worked as a financial analyst, later he moved back to Sonoma County to work for Medtronic. His career took a turn when he joined Best Buy as a sales associate and expert in Microsoft, which he enjoyed, thoroughly.
A devout Catholic, he attended St. Elizabeth Seton Church, where he enjoyed giving singing instructions. Music and dancing were his greatest joys. Jordan is survived by his parents, Bob and Jane Ginn, stepsiblings Eric, Tamara, Kim, and Jackie, as well as nephews Erik, Ryan, and Dakota.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the Welfare League of Santa Rosa, as well as St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Rohnert Park. A Mass will be held on Friday, August 5th at 1:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Rohnert Park.

Not sure what to say?

Dear Ginn Family, I am very sorry to hear of Jordan's passing. I remember Jordan from St Elizabeth's Church. He was a beautiful child. Please accept my deepest sympathies. May he Rest In Peace in the Arms of His SaviourMy prayers for peace and calm to your hearts

I am so sorry for your loss and wish I could be there to give you all hugs.

Single Memorial Tree

My deepest condolences to the family. Jordan joined Phi Kappa Psi when I was President and he was a bright soul, huge smiles, amazing musical talent and he lit up the room every time he came into it. Most of my memories are of him laughing and making those around him hysterical at the same time. This truly saddens me, it´s tragic really, but I am calmed knowing that he is entertaining all those souls in Heaven.

So many blessings of love to you and your family at the unexpected loss of beautiful Jordan!

To the Ginn Family, so sorry for your loss! I didn't know Jordan but it seemed like a very nice young man. May he R.I.P.
