Burkhart Funeral Home - Crawfordsville Obituary

Jordan A. Gobin of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday, July 30 at Franciscan Health of Lafayette.  He was 30.


Jordan had been a salesman for Bob Rohrman Honda and more recently with JD Byrider.  He was just starting with Resurrection Auto in Crawfordsville.  He was a member of Legacy Church.  He was a talented musician and liked playing drums.  He enjoyed many outdoor activities like hunting, fishing and golf.  He was a fan of all kinds of sports.  He had a huge group of friends and loved his friend group.  Most of all, he loved his son more than anything and was a wonderful daddy to Ryland.


Born Nov. 1, 1994 in Crawfordsville, he was the beloved son of Terry Gobin and Debra Tidwell Gobin.  He graduated from Southmont in 2013 and attended Indiana Bible College for 2 years.


He was loved and will be missed by his surviving family, which includes: son, Ryland Gobin; parents, Pastor Terry and Debbie Gobin; brother, Josh Gobin (Carrie); sister, Marissa Pyle; grandmother, Roberta Gobin; five nieces and nephews, Ashlyn, Jentry, Waylon, Amariah and Aunyssa; two special aunts in his life, Linda Ayres and Tina Urquidi (Wille); two uncles, Rick Tidwell and Rand (Donna) Tidwell.


He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lester and Lois Tidwell and paternal grandfather, Donald Gobin, and his brother-in-law, Shaun Pyle.


Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Friday, August 8th at New Life Apostolic Church.  Additional visitation will be from 2 to 3 PM on Saturday, August 9th with services starting at 3 PM, led by Josh Gobin and Terry Gobin.  Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery North at 4 PM on Monday, August 11th.


In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jordan Gobin may be made to New Life Apostolic Church, 970 N. Englewood Drive, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.

What a wonderful person Jordan was to work with and talk to. May god bless his family in this time.

It was a good man he worked for JB byrider took care of his customers he always talked about him taking care of his family but his priorities he said his baby it always was nice to his customers made sure they have what they needed good heart of working man he sure will be missed from the jbyrider customers

He was hard and the customer sure JB ride her that's short what I miss him it was a good-hearted working man always talked about how he took care of his children and made sure you was taken care of
